Volvo will test in London its autonomous driverless car
The live test "will start early in 2017 with a limited number of semi-autonomous cars and will expand in 2018 to include up to 100 autonomous cars, making it the most extensive test program on British roads" said the brand in a statement.
London is the second city chosen by Volvo to launch these vehicles, after Gothenburg, where it has its headquarters and where the general public tests should also start next year. Tests supervised by Volvo engineers began on the streets of the Swedish second agglomeration 2014.
